New deck (WIP)

    Well after i lost my first deck and my orginal collection of cards (I kept them on top of my vcr/dvd player. It caught on fire and i didn't notice it until i started smelling smoke. All the cards were destroyed... Really makes me mad cause i had some pretty rare ones.) I decided to try to make a new deck using the cards i have bought since then.

    I an not sure what type of deck to call it but my orginal intention was to have a deck with the low level monsters having either high atk or high def (For that level) with the high level monsters having high atk/def, or a easy way to acheive that goal (Millinium Scorpion)

    The Spell cards all affect lp in a direct way either incresing mine or lowering my opponents (Posion of the old man) One magic card is what you would call a double edged sword. It harms both me and the opponent at the same time with me hoping that it kills my opponent first (D.D.S, Dark Snake Syndrome)

    The traps primary intention is to negate enemy attacks and either harm them (Magic cylinder) or help me (Draining shield) Other roles were to remove cards from the enemys deck whenever i had a sucuessful attack agenst them (Robbin Goblin) Other traps are included that serve other purposes are included as well.

    Anyway that aside this is what the deck looks like at this time. I will be changing cards constantly untill i am happy with it.

    As stated before this deck is still WIP and will be changed constantly. This deck, in my opinion, is built a lot better then my previous deck.

    Possiable changes (Some changes that i can't make up my mind about. Would like someone to comment about them and tell me wether or not it will help)

    Removal of one Renge to add snipe hunter.
    Possiable addition of Swords of concealing Light
    Possiable addition of Birthright
    Possiable addition of Magical Arm Shield
    Possiable removal of all 3 sakuretsu armour's. Planned replacements are 2x bottomless trap hole and 1x secrets of the gallant
    Possiable removal of shrink.
    Possiable addition of 2x ground collapse

    This deck may or may not work at a hobby level, but it's smoked out by the higher-level decks. Most of the cards don't synergize together, and others are just too weak alone.

    Spoiler:


    • Copycat is a weak card overall, as it relies on your opponent completely for its strength. It's either going to end up as a dead draw most of the time or as a weak temporary wall.
    • You have Dark Scorpion - Gorg the Strong listed as 1-4 when he is 5 starred. That means he takes a tribute, which also means he costs way too much for his effect. He's not particularly strong, either.
    • Millenium Scorpion is okay at best. He takes too long to gain power, compared to a lot of other cards. On top of that, he requires a tribute.
    • Patrician of Darkness has little point in this deck. His effect is strong, but he doesn't have the support to keep coming back on the field like he does in zombie decks. Since most of your monsters are weaker than him, and almost all share the same ATK / DEF of 1800-2000, you're most likely going to target him or Moaki Interceptor Cannons with the attack, neither of which can really withstand an attack. Patrician of Darkness really shines with Pyramid Turtle.
    • Spiral Serpent meh; even Blue-Eyes is better.
    • Super Conductor Tyranno has a weak effect and takes two tributes. On top of that, his effect requires you to tribute more. He's just a waste of monsters; you could do better without him.

    Spoiler:


    • Toll is an okay card. I just don't think it fits with the high-ATK monsters.
    • Remove Trap and De-Spell are useless cards; Remove Trap can only destroy face-up cards last I recall and no one really sets face-down Spell cards for De-Spell. There are better options, like your lack of Heavy Storm or Giant Trunade; and then some trap cards like Dust Tornado or Royal Decree.
    • With your high amount of Normal Monsters, Heart of the Underdog would be a good choice to add.


    Spoiler:


    • Cemetary Bomb doesn't fit with this deck. It won't pull off enough damage quick enough to be desirable over other cards like Secret Barrel.
    • Sakuretsu Armor is a phenomenal card. You should run 3x Bottomless, 3x Saku if you can :P
    • Straight Flush is a little risky to rely on. Judging that your opponent has 5 cards in their back row... They probably have a counter. Besides, there is no Heavy Storm in this deck. Malevolent Catastrophe is also a card to consider; however, remember that you don't need over 9000 cards to destroy Spell/Traps!
    • Eradicator Epidemic Virus has no targets.
