    My Fusions

I was playing my Pokemon Pearl today and I realized how cool it owuld be if a few Pokemon had some evos. So I went on MS Paint and started making some. Here they are:

    [PokeCommunity.com] New Evos

    Protom (Proton+Rotation+Atom)
    Large Atom Pokemon
    Ghost/Electric
    2'00'' 0.7 lbs
Ability: Negative Energy (When hit by an Electric attack, ability changes to Levitate. When hit again, increases Speed)
    Dex info:
Protom is a social Pokemon that congregates around power plants. The energy given off by this Pokemon is enough to power an entire city for one year.
This Pokemon evolves from Rotom at level 50.

    [PokeCommunity.com] New Evos

    Sqrishokk (Squirrel+Shock)
    Static Pokemon
    Electric
    4'2'' 15.1 lbs
    Ability: Pickup or Volt Absorb
    Dex info:
Sqrishokk stores its electricity in its belly. When its belly is rubbed, static electricity is discharged.
This Pokemon evolves from Pachirisu via Trade

    [PokeCommunity.com] New Evos

    Scanno (Alteration of 'scan')
    Scan Pokemon
    Normal
    3'2'' 10.7 lbs
    Ability: Trace
    Dex info:
Scanno can transform into anything it sees by using the antenna on its head. If this antenna is blocked, Scanno can still use Transform.
This Pokemon evolves from Ditto at level 60.
    Moves: Transform, Metronome

    [PokeCommunity.com] New Evos

    Genereon (Generation+Eon)
    Gene Pokemon
    Normal/Fight
    3'7'' 27.8 lbs
    Ability: Adaptibility or Run Away
    Dex info:
Genereon is a very territorial Pokemon. Those who are not associated with it are often victims of its relentless attacks.
This Pokemon evolves from Eevee at level 40.

Eh some of these are really good. But I think that if you want to be original and have better sprites, try making them from scratch. I know it is harder, but you can be more flexible and really make them look like anything you want. If you are just starting out though, then it is ok to use old sprites.

(note that systems are based on a rating system of stars, and the max you can get is five. the stars are represented as "*".)

    ---

    Protom **
More like Voltorb who painted his white part red and drew lines on himself.
    then started chargeing electricity.
The idea is great, I truly like it.
but the sprite could use some work.

    Sqrishokk **
kinda looks like someone gave typhosion a bad paint job.
and put a tail on it.
    It must be halloween.

    Scanno *
EWW. it looks like someone took a shiny wobbuffet and it was the guinea pig in a horrible experiment gone wrong.

    Genereon *****
    *claps*
the sprite is great. However, it's a great FUSION.
    not as a pokemon evolution.
it's just a persian mixed with Eevee.
but you did a dang good job making it.

    average:

    ** + 1/2

    You could use some improvement.

these are good startups. Try to get more technical with your style by changing angles or moving the light source. And like kuggles said, scratching doesn't hurt. these arent too bad, but they are not the greatest.

I disagree with acha that eevee persain fusion is the best. it is nicely done, but doesnt stretch boundaries or have an amaze fractor. it is just a nice simple fusion. (simple is good though)

typhlosion one would be nicer without the big yellow spot, or else i'd like it. wobbo is good practice with changing and adding appendiges (sp.) while voltorb is just a done up recolor.

Keep practicing and i'll check in again later.

Thanks for the comments. But there is a problem:

    I CAN'T SCRATCH!!!!!

I don't have the steady hands. Or the materials. I have the imagination, though. And about the Wobbuffett fusion, I was bored. Couldn't think of anything.

I am not just starting out with spriting. I've been doing fusions for about a year now and I have made much better sprites. However, this is the first I've done in about 3 months, so I'm a little sketchy. Check back later and the fusions will be better.

What would the world be without Ctrl+Z?
I avoid regular drawing with a mouse because I do not have a steady hand.

But that doesn't effect my pixeling. Normally you have to go in and slowly edit each pixel, so there is no need for a steady hand. Make a quick sketch or have it visualized as you make it.

Like some of the stuff I did, I thought the outline was really bad and messy from the start, but I carefully added things and it turned out great! And I too have an unsteady hand. You can do it! :'D

All you need is MSPaint. ;P Nothing more.

And I agree with everyone else. Fusions do take skill, but new Pokemon should be made from scratch. Or else everyone sees "An edited ___ sprite" rather than your beautiful creature.

Okay. From now on, this topic wil be about FUSIONS I make. That is to clear confusion. ANd I'll take you guys' advice and practice scratching.

Here are 2 new fusions I made today:
    [PokeCommunity.com] New Evos

Zitterfeu (Combination of German "Electric" and French "Fire")
    Wildfire Pokemon
    Fire/Electric
    5'10'' 214.0 lbs
Ability: Heat Discharge (When hit by a Fire attack, gains HP. When hit by Electric attack, increases ATK)
    Dex info:
Zitterfeu are noble Pokemon. They are told of in legends of the first Pokemon that brought heat to the world.

    [PokeCommunity.com] New Evos

    Spectree (Spectrum + Tree)
    Grass/Poison
    3'1'' 14.2 lbs
Ability: Rainbow (Encounter rate with Pokemon in the wild increases. Lowers foe's accuracy in battle)
    Dex info:
Spectree are colorful Pokemon. This makes them easy targets for predators. However, foes are wary because this Pokemon secretes a deadly toxin from its skin.

On Zitterfeu (original name Arcanokou. Wanted something exotic), the tail and stripes are scratched. The shiny version (on the right) is simply a palette swap of the original. On Spectree, the trunk is scratched. All of these colors are original colors I made myself.

Lol, I also use MSpaint, and this is what I do...

    1) You do a rough outline

    2) You do rough lines on the inside

    3) You go back and any thing you see tha looks like an (L) or (S) where the dots are fully connected, you get rid of one dot so only corners touch

    4) For pokemon sprites u need four shades, so, yoy make a really dark color first, then add it to your costom colors list, then you go to change a diffrent color and you click on the color in the costum bin and make it somewhat brighter (repeat twice more)

    5) You change black outline so its the darkest of the color you want

    6) Color and shade rest

Tips: use CTRL-Z to undo and you can also use copy and paste if you truely need it ^^

If you have any other questions I got some answers ^^
