    hello!!! my name is wintyr, i'm a 26yo writer from the southwestern united states. i mostly write fiction, but i also write poetry, and i've written comic books, radioplays, and screenplays. i'm a relatively newer fan of pokemon (i didn't get into the games growing up, but i played alpha sapphire in 2015 and i've been hooked since). my favorite pokemon generation is probably gen 7, though alpha sapphire and platinum are both all-time favorites. i've played at least one game from every generation except gens i and iii, though i've yet to complete crystal, platinum, black, and ultra moon. P: a mudkip called memecore was my first starter pokemon! i'm a big fan of ghost and fairy types in general though. i plan to pick up a copy of pokemon violet when it comes out, and i'm leaning toward sprigatito for my starter. the game i'm playing most actively at the moment is crystal.

    i'm also a first-time pokemon fangame dev, though i've used various entries in the rpg maker series for a while now (most of my experience is in vx ace and mv, but i'm getting used to xp with my current project)! generally speaking, i like to make games with the help of my fantabulous partner ven. currently, i'm working on a fangame in pokemon essentials that's a crossover between the pokemon game universe and the sandman comics/tv show universe, which is exactly as unhinged as it sounds and a lot of fun so far.

    i'm not always the best at timely responses and tend to zone out, but if you ever want to chat, feel free to message me here or ask for my discord!

    Hello, Wyntir, and welcome to the forums!
    Have you played Black 2 / White 2 ? These two have the best means to train pokémon in my opinion. Among other things! ^^
    What are your favourite pokémon ?

    I certainly recommend you to give Blue / Red / Yellow or their remakes a try!
    If you have interest in developping fan games, the Fan Games section is the right place!

    What did you like about Alpha Sapphire that you consider it a favorite?
