What is the HLON?

It means that they are rotating the following sets out of Modified format:
EX: Ruby and Saphire
EX: Sandstorm
EX: Dragons
EX: Team Aqua vs Team Magma

Leaving the following sets legal:
EX: Hidden Legends
EX: FireRed LeafGreen
EX: Team Rocket Returns
EX: Deoxys
EX: Emerald
any sets released after Emerald

Well, if this is true, tha that means some combos are still usuable. I guess we have to wait and see when it becomes official. It seems odd though since FR&LG would have been a more realistic choice.

But, since they will no longer be official, we can't use them in our decks??

Not for Tournament Play. If you use them for casual play, it's fine.
