    I just recently started a new game and here are the Pokemon I have so far:

    Sceptile@Leftovers
    Naughty
    * Double Team
    * Toxic
    * Leaf Blade
    * Dragon Claw

    Exploud@need item
    Bashful
    * Hyper Voice
    * Howl
    * Rest
    * Shadow Ball

    Camerupt@need item
    Docile
    * Rock Slide
    * EQ
    * Overheat
    * Roar

    Ninjask@need item
    Lonely
    * Swords Dance
    * Double team
    * Aerial Ace
    * Slash

    Is this a good team so far? (Probably not, but.....)

    I would hope ninjask is first
    U have 2 be the first person in the history of pokemon not to use ninjask as a baton passer - before frostweaver tears u up i suggest u change it

    Ninjask[adamant]
    EVs- Def 256, SpDef 256
    dig/protect
    baton pass
    sword dance/double team/earthquke if u go with protect/hyper beam
    attract

    There is no need 2 use a stat upper move as his ability is good enough 2 pass

    Sceptile[modest/timid]
    EVs - Sp 128, SpDef 256, SpAtt 128
    leaf blade
    crunch
    dragon claw/HP water
    rest/agility/HP water

    Exploud[Jolly]
    EVs - Def 256, Att 128, Sp 128
    earthquke
    brick break
    rest/reflect
    shadow ball/aerial ace

    He totally sucks ^_^

    Camerupt[Timid/Modest]
    EVs - hp 128, SpAtt 128, Sp 256
    earthquake
    rest
    amnesia
    flamethrower/overheat

    I like him as a SpDef tank but i will admit Torkoal does a better job so u might want 2 go totally offensive with rock slide.

    This team could easly be destroyed by a fast Blaziken -rock slide the fly, sky uppercut exploud, earthquake the camel and overheat sceptile

    Oh great. Now I feel bad. I don't know why, but I just don't like Ninjask as a BPer. Thanks, by the way.

    Don't feel bad i just wanted to scowl someone - i am usually the one getting it ^_^
    Its ok to use a pokemon as u like but u should try to take into consideration their strengths and weaknesses and ninjask is totally designed for passing thats all.
    I was just suprised to see ninjask as something other than a passer so i reacted....
    By the way use silverwind instead of hyperbeam - i forgot it at the time i posted.

    Ninjask MUST be baton passer... its stats are too terrible to do anything else. However you did a good job with the Ninjask/Exploud combination.

    Ninjask- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ leftovers/liechi
    EV: Atk, Speed MAX
    -silver wind/aerial ace
    -Swords dance
    -substitute
    -baton pass

    Darn standard, but you have no other choice... Ninjask is Ninjask, the ultimate baton apsser, and nothing else. If you don't want a baton passer, I suggest you to use someone else.

    Exploud- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ lum berry/leftovers
    EV: Atk, Speed
    -extrasensory/psychic
    -return
    -shadowball
    -brick break

    Exploud has anti-roar ability. It cannot be pseudohazed away so that's why it's a good combination with Ninjask. Let Ninjask baton pass a (hopefully) swords dance, sub and an agility, and sweep away. Psychic move for anti-Weezing, and if it's Skarmory just slowly beat it up with brute force as it cannot pseudohaze you away anyway.

    Camperupt- [sp.atk or atk + / speed -] @ quick claw
    EV: atk and sp.atk
    -explosion
    -overheat
    -rock slide
    -earthquake

    Nah it can't really defend... I'll rather blow it up.

    Sceptile- [sp.atk or speed + / atk -] @ leftovers/lum berry
    EV: Sp.atk, speed MAX, sp.def?
    -HP Ice
    -Leaf Blade
    -Crunch
    -Dragon Claw

    Sweeper set... the alternative is drop crunch/dclaw for leech seed and sub, but then you'll need to invest a bit of defensive EVs then.

    Thanks for the moveset's, Frostweaver! Oh, I decided to use Grumpig as my Psychic Poke. Is this a good ms?

    Grumpig@ Choice Band
    Lonely
    *Trick
    *Calm Mind
    *Psychic
    *HP Dark

    Also, what would be a good water type so I can complete my team?

    In terms of water type, the standard ones are...

    -Starmie
    -Swampert
    -Vaporeon
    -Milotic

    Starmie is fastest out of the 4 water types, and it can sweep or be used as staller, or even an utility Pokemon with thunder wave/confuse ray. You got psychic/thunderbolt/surf/ice beam at your disposal for sweeping purposes, and there's recover and cosmic power for defenses. You can also get a mix of them all. Starmie has a 360-370 speed which is very threatening.

    Vaporeon can water absorb, and its best ability must be the high hp along with the good sp.def. It is the only one who can haze as well. Its special attack isn't low at all either. Its water absorb ability can crush many other water types (well except for Swampert and Starmie), especially Kingdra. The move wish also makes it a helpful teammate to have for healing the team.

    Milotic has the highest special defense, and is very annoying. It has many stalling moves, such as confuse ray, hypnosis and most of them packs toxic as well. Mirror coat can put the end to Zapdos (it will survive that STAB thunderbolt easily), and also there's recover to make matters even worst for your enemy. Marvel Scale gives it a great advantage against any Pokemon who knows thunder wave. At the sacrifice of all of your speed (but then again, as if you have any) and perhaps a few skipped turns, you have both of your defenses at the 330s, with a 300+ max hp. Milotic's surf/ice beam isn't at all that weak either.

    Swampert is the most offensive, and IMHO hardest to use because adjusting its EV seems to be very difficult (at least for me). A good swampert has decent defenses in both categories (unless you're against grass moves). It does a great job as a mixed sweeper, with a possibility of surf/ice beam/earthquake/brick break/rock slide all for you. It's hard to use, but once you got the hang of using Swampert, the results are fantastic.

    As for Grumpig, I always think that it's a hard Pokemon to use due to low stats... I personally like Grumpig as an annoyer/utility Pokemon instead of sweeper (if you want to sweep, why not just take Alakazam? So might as well give it a use that no other Pokemon except Kecleon can do)

    Grumpig- [sp.def + / atk -] @ choice band
    EV: Speed, Sp.def, hp
    -trick
    -confuse ray
    -light screen
    -psywave

    Trick the band asap, and unleash confuse ray. With their attack power to the max, confuse ray will hurt the opponent a lot. Set up light screen for the team, and it'll most likely force the banded special sweeper to switch out. Psywave is used as an offensive move that requires no EV investments in the attack category.

    Okay, thanks. I've decided to use Stamie. Is this good?

    Starmie@Petaya Berry
    Modest
    *Recover
    *Surf
    *Ice Beam
    *Thunderbolt

    EDIT: Also, when would it be a good time to evolve Staryu?

    Change modest to a speed boosting personality. The speed is more important than attack in this case. Also, change petaya or preferably leftovers (really don't rely on berries unless you got ways to purposely lower your own hp to such a degree to activate them).

    The moveset is fine itself. Evolve Staryu after getting leftovers (but really it shouldn't matter at all if you use the EV training method)

    Well, as a Water you could have used Lanturn but anyway...

    And Double Team sucks on most Grass-Types. Thet killed by Aerial Ace anyway...
