6th Gen New to X... help

    Hi,
    I'm new to Pok?mon X.. I just recently got back into the Pok?mon gaming. I just finished Pok?mon Sun, and I have X now.. can you trade like in sun and moon? What are your opinions or threats about advice on which starters to choose? Or can you trade for them?

    Thanks for any help!
     
    In XY you can trade between other XY games and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. You can also transfer the Pokemon up to Sun/Moon with the PokeTransporter, but they cannot be sent back.
    Froakie is usually the most recommended starter to choose, he has a nice typing that's effective against Team Flare later in the game.
