Newb question - thread viewing issue, only one post at a time?

    Newb question. Sorry if this is addressed a lot., but I am unsure of which words to search for to resolve this.

    I notice then when viewing certain threads, I only see one post. In order to see replies, I have to click on the link for a reply I wish to view. I can only ever view one at a time, and I do not ever see much of the post before following the link. This makes it difficult to know if the reply is even worth reading.

    It is not like this for ALL threads, but I'm not sure yet what determines if a thread does this. Can I fix it in my UserCP?

    Hmm...the only thing I can think of is that you've switched the way you view threads. Just above every thread, there should be a few drop-down menus. Click the one that says "Display Modes" and switch it to Linear Mode.

    If that doesn't work, perhaps take a screenshot so I can better see what you mean.
     
    Thank you. That fixed the problem.

    Some threads were being viewed in "Threaded Mode"... why? I'm not sure, but at least now I can do something about it ;)
