3rd Gen newbee trading question

hi, i havent played pokemon in decades but recently (i got ruby in the mail friday and leafgreen today) bought ruby and leafgreen and was wondering how to trade between them and some of the ds games if i get any. i do have a gba (regular not sp) and a ds light to play the games. but what cables or other things do i need to connect the two games?

There are 2 slots on every DS. One for DS games and one for GBA. DS and GBA pkmn games can connect using this dual slot feature. Its called migrating. You can migrate once every 24 hours and pkmn that know HMs cant migrate.
To connect Ruby to LeafGreen, you need a GBA cable.
