Newbie Needs Advice on Deck

Hey guys,

I just recently got into playing Pokemon cards with a few friends. I went out and purchased the Primal Clash Earths Pulse deck and its a pretty good deck. My question is how do i expand this deck and what is the best way to go about it?

The problem with these starter decks is that they have no clear focus. What you want to do is take out the Pokemon you don't want and just shove trainer cards into the deck. Korrina from the furious fist set would be a good choice if you want to focus on the fighting type Pokemon.
