[Question] Newbie questions regarding mapping

    I'm brand new to all of this, so apologies in advance if any answers to these questions are obvious.

    First and foremost, I'm interested in learning how to do mapping for Pokémon Essentials. What is the grid size in RPG Maker XP? I've found a bunch of great tilesets in gen 4/5 graphics on deviantArt; would I need to convert those to fit, and if yes, how do I go about doing that? What are some good graphical resources for making a gen 4/5 game?
     
    Each tile is 32x32 however most Pokemon tilesets are 16x16 scaled up to 32x32. The best source of tiles is DeviantArt or asking permission from other fan games to use their resources.
