    Maybe Fern or Fikis sp?

    their might not even be a new generation,we just have to wait.
     
    Aspen, Pine, or maybe Fern? (If that's a tree name.)
     
    Coniferous:cool: Aspen seems right. Even though Maple would rock, and instantaniously make him/her (time for a girl) my favourite proffeseur. I guess its a Canadian thing. Or a Maple Syrup thing, yum!

    Fern sounds feminine. Unless they finally have a female professor in the game, I doubt it.

    Beech? She'd have to be a real "beech", y'know. :P

    The Prof.'s names aren't really based on wood, but Trees for that matter, on the contrary, it might be Bonzai as the next one
     
    I think Nintendo tripped with "Rowan". It's not too obvious what it is, actually.
    I'd prefer Redwood. :P Pretty obvious.

    Ivy was made of awesome. I'm hoping for a Professor Redwood.
