    so i was on GTS last night, and i was evolving my rhydon to a rhyperior by doing the whole thing where you put your poke in the box with the evo item and it evolves. but i had to do a trade first. so i found this lvl 100 milotic for dirt cheap, like a chimchar or something, and traded for it.

    i got my rhyperior back out of GTS, and then i decided to post the milotic up for a scyther, thinking there was about a 1/1000000 chance that someone would actually give me one with metal coat. so i ended up getting a lvl 80 scyther for it, with metal coat!

    i thought that was so cool, that i actually got something good from GTS, and i was wondering if anyone else has ever had an experience like mine where they got more than they bargained for from GTS
     
    i was offering something(Forget what)for a spiritomb lv 50 and up and i got a lv100 named nightmare!
     
    well I got zip zero cheerio off the gts.its just become a desert waste land for cloning and unreasonable demands
     
    i received a shiny weavile once but i forgot what i offered

    most of the time i would agree with that. but i just decided to test the market last night

    also, GTS seems to be a place where people go to unload hacks now too. i have unloaded one or two hacks on gts that i have gotten from trades. but that's only because i think of the gts as one big risk, youre never sure what you may get
     
    i offered latios and latiasx2 and got shiny palkia, shiny dialga, shiny deoxys.
    i traded my lvl 100 magmortar for a shiny milotic =]
     
    i got a super glitchy azelf, but that was okay cause i only wanted it for the dex data
     
    heres a good way 2 fool people on GTS. ask for whatever pokemon u want, use a mew cheat and a shiny cheat, then use the raer candy cheat andjack it up 2 level 100. nobody can resist that. 2 answer ur question, i tried using GTS but it didnt work. however, my friend got a level 97 mespirit for a garchomp. sure, evo training took awhile but it was worth it.
     
    Uh, let's see. Well, last night, I got a 10 ANIV Celebi for one of my several Jirachi. And I got another WISHMKR Jirachi for a Cherubi. ^^

    Aside from that, I got a Lv. 100 Weavile for a Piplup I think, and a Lv. 100 Flygon for an Infernape someone else on the GTS gave me for a Cherubi, so I didn't give my own Infernape. I also got a Lv. 100 Snorlax for something cheap, and just several other things...I end up searching through the GTS for a half hour at least twice a day for good deals, though I never actually use anything I get off the GTS for battling. x_x Guess I'd rather raise my own.
     
    actually, i have a funny story about the GTS. one time i was on looking for a palkia after i had already traded one of my own for a dialga, and i saw a shiny palkia. the thing was, the person was asking for a starly, any level! so i immediately rushed to the trade button, and scrambled to find my starly. so i offered it, and then gts just freezes up. i was like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! that couldve been my first shiny!" so i went on like 3 more times and the same thing happened.

    it's amazing how 1 shiny palkia can clog the whole gts

    Oh, God, that happens to me all the time. That very second a dream deal pops up, everyone is rushing to it and crashing at the same time. It kills me when this happens. x_x And even when I consider the fact that most shinies on the GTS are hacked, I still can't help but hope that my little Shinx might get me a legit Shiny Dialga. =( Since I never actually end up getting it, I'll never know if they were real or not. -_-
     
    yeah, i think that, hacked or not, the people who put stuff up like that do it only because they know it will totally freeze up the gts.
     
    And lately, there's been a large amount of people asking for Mew Lv. 9 or below, for pretty much every legendary there is. I'd attribute that to people trying to clone if those offers weren't constantly everywhere. I'm sure it's a bunch of people trying to fill-up people's searches with offers that are impossible to carry-out without hacking. =/
     
    yeah, that is a little annoying. i may be picking up an ar soon, so maybe i'll make a bunch of mews just to screw with those people. mwahahahahaaha
     
    the shiny palkia and ur game freezing are just coincidental...

    a shiny palkia wouldn't "clog the tubez"

    nintendo has enough bandwidth to host several million GTS requests at once

    Trading lengendaries is now ban.
    So even if you do do it, it won't work.
    The only way to get a legendary is from offering.
     
    I can trade legendaries just fine on there, I just traded my Rayquaza tonight. There was a bit of time a month ago or something where I couldn't, but maybe it's only affecting certain games or areas yet.

    But once I asked for a Ho-oh and got a Shiny one. It even looked perfectly legit, I know there's no way to tell, but it had normal stats and everything, not like the Riolu I got on there caught in a masterball on route 202 or something O.o so I still use the Ho-oh just because it looks cool. I also found a Shiny Dragonair and Shiny Dialga on there, Dialga for my Jirachi and the Shiny Dragonair wanted another Dragonair at lv 100 iirc. Again, can't ever tell if they're legit, but since Dragonair's my favorite pokemon and I had a spare Jirachi, I took the chances with 'em. Won't ever trade them, I just like to keep them ^_^
     
    they fixed the legendary ban glitch a while ago (that was a while ago (and a real PITA))
     
    already tried got my friend to catch a few level 2 mews and it said you couldn't trade them thats why they do it.
