No, I'll never stop drawing pregnancy

Imho

First of all, your picture was awesome. Even paint can produce some handsome results if the artist is dedicated enough. I really like the color, and the highlights are all in the right places. Good job.

But I do have a question. I realize it's probably irrelevant, and it probably has as much bearing as a peanut, but I'm going to ask it anyway. Why did you choose to portray the vaporeon as mammals? Only mammals have mammary glands, and by putting them on the female there, you're letting the viewer know that she'll be nursing the babies when they're born. That would be fine, except for the fact that all mammals (with two exceptions) are live born. Pokemon, on the other hand, are born from eggs. :)

Anyway, like I said, it's really rather irrelevant. There's such a thing as creative license, of course, and you're certainly no exception. I was just wondering if you'd also thought about the same thing I did, I guess, lol.

Btw, the two exceptions are the Platypus and the Echidna. :D

I guess you're not familiar with my art. I hate the idea of all Pokemon laying large eggs. It's stupid. Elekid is only about 12 lbs lighter than Electabuzz or something like that, so unless Pokemon were like kiwis, it would be very painful. I've bred many Pokemon ingame so I am fully aware of their egg laying. But the game is illogical in many aspects, breeding being the major one. I have drawn live birthing Pokemon. And, frankly, most of the people who look at my art aren't very logical with shallow comments like "omgiod, it's so cute, kawaii, keep it up!"

I'm also aware of egg-laying mammals, but it's silly to picture a horse-like beast laying an egg.

EDIT: here's some Hitmonchan drawn on oekakis. I hate having to explain myself, so I'm in no mood to comment.

Shuko, I too had drawn both pregnant and birthing Pok?mon and, like Iveechan, I also received some shallow comments like "UH! Do you know Pok?mon lay eggs?" I also cannot picture all Pok?mon laying eggs due to the fact that some, such as Pikachu, looked mammalian.
