5th Gen Noob Question: Victini

Hey gang,
I just got back into poke'mon with White and was reading about "events". Apparently I missed the one where you can get the liberty pass to meet Victini. (Which really bummed me out 'cause he was the only legendary I really wanted >_<)
My question: I got my game last week, so waaaay after the event had come and gone. Does this mean there's no way for me to acquire a LEGAL Victini? I've heard some people say they can trade you a poke'mon holding the liberty pass so you can use on your game, and others say not.
So guys, will I forever be Victini-less?

You can just trade for one from someone else. Often people clone their Pokemon so they can trade them, so try in the Quick Trade thread.

Well, there could always be another event for a different Victini, maybe one for the movie or something. It all depends on what Nintendo thinks. But no, you are never gonna get that specific Liberty Pass Victini by yourself, the event is over.

Of course, the whole concept of Pokemon is too trade...

They already did a Movie Victini for Japan with Reshiram and Zekrom signature movies, so I see no reason why they won't do it in the nations they have 4 Gen events in. When you hear news of the Victini movie(s) coming to the US in your case then expect the events to come along with it.

Also, adding in that you can't attach the item to a Pokemon, because it's a key item.
