    I used to play TCG like all the time when I was young, thing is I've lost my cards and I cant find them, and I want to start building a new deck but I dont have much cash, does anyone know of a good shop in uk? Best I can find so far is the Argos book where on page 1697 they have:

    Number 17, 3 packs of booster cards, 10 cards per pack for £9.99
    Number 18 (which I have my mind on), which is a collectable tin with 4 booster packs and one of 3 special foil cards for £14.99
    Number 20, theme deck £9.99
    Number 21, pokemon exclusive collector's set, contains one theme deck, 4 booster packs and 4 pocket portfiolo. But it says it's the latest release and I'm not that familiar with the lastest pokemon which to me are the diamond and peral ones. There £19.99
    Number 23, you get one dvd, one theme pack and one booster pack for £13.33.

    Does anyone know where else would be a good place to buy them with better priceing?
    What stuff does toys r us do?
    And what's the best offer in the argos catoluge as all I wanted was a tin and to start my collection again, but now I have all these options.

    I don't know about stores in the UK, but I can at least tell you that tins are usually the most economical option, so I would go with them and booster packs. You said you weren't familiar with the most recent generation of pokemon, so if you want to avoid diamond and pearl pokemon then go for the heartgold soulsilver set, as the pokemon are reprinted from the gold and silver era. Unleashed also has some original pokemon, but the set is mixed with original and newer pokemon.
     
    Once I find roms of the games that work then I'll try diamond and pearl out anf get used to it. I've heard heartgold and soulsilver are a mix of leafgreen and ruby and fire red and sapphire, is that true too? I cant find a fully working rom for that either so I wouldn't know.
     
    Well, leafgreen and firered are rehashes of the original pokemon games, so technically I guess you could say that the heartgold soulsilver card set has those pokemon in them. There may be ruby and sapphire pokemon in there too, I'm not as familiar with those versions. Basically, you aren't going to find a recent set that contains only pokemon from one version of the video game, because the card sets mix pokemon from all of the video games versions.
     
    Yeah leafgreen are like re makes of like pokemon red, yellow, blue, green and what ever colours there are aren't they.
    Ahhh cool, I'm quite familiar with the ruby ones and the leafgreen ones etc myself after spending years on ruby.

    But if anyone from uk knows a better place than Argos please do tell me:)
