Issue: not receiving notifications of new PMs

    there is no dialog that tells me I have a PM asking if I want to view it and it DOES NOT appear in notifications!!! I just happened to go in my PMs to read an older PM and saw that an admin sent me a PM two days ago!!! I NEVER got the notification and no dialog pops up ANYTIME I visit PokéCommunity like usual when I have a new PM!!!

    Log out, clear your browser's cache and cookies for PC.

    close all browser windows, reboot if you want to.

    Come back and log in again. Check your notification settings in your user control panel, https://www.pokecommunity.com/profile.php?do=editoptions making sure you have them enabled. If you like a more active notification you can turn on:

    If you are browsing the forums when you receive a new private message, the system can pop-up a notification box informing you of the new message.
[ ] Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up
    to alert you with a small pop-alert message.

    there are other settings in there as well that you set as needed.
