[Pokémon] Nurse Joy's Hope

Trainers from all over the Kanto region gather at the Indigo Plateu in hopes of defeating the Champion. Nurse Joy was not there for that reason, however.

Nurse Joy started out as the nurse of Viridian City. Not many trainers came through, which was a little boring at times, but quiet. That all changed when she was assigned to the Indigo Plateu. The nurse left, so she had to take her place. Not many people appreciated the work she did. She didn't mind, though. As long as she had her precious Chansey by her side, everything was fine.

Everything was a little slow. Nurse Joy was dusting off her desk when a strange red haired woman walked through the door. A yellow bow sat in her puffed up, shoulder length hair. A big yellow dress just made her seem like a cartoon character.

"Hello, is that your Chansey?" She asked Nurse Joy.

"Yes."

"Not anymore." The woman replied, ripping off the dress to reveal her Team Rocket uniform. Nurse Joy was too shocked to move. The woman threw a black bead on the ground, and a cloud of black smoke filled the room. Loud coughs could be heard all around as Nurse Joy scrambled around looking for her Chansey.

"The boss should love this." A voice said.

The smoke began to clear. Nurse Joy's eyes were a bit watery. When everything was fully visible, she realized Chansey was gone.

I don't know where the story will lead, but grammar-wise, it's near to perfection. I only spotted one, I don't know, mistake? Well here is it.

That all changed when she was assigned to the Indigo Plateu.

Maybe, it will be nicer if you changed the "That all changed" to "All of that changed." For me, it is nicer, and better to read at.

And watch your spelling of plateau. :) I think you'll be using the word much, so better get it right.

Officer Jenny asked her what happened. Questioning went nearly nowhere. All Joy remembered was that woman, and a blinding puff of smoke. Every minute made Joy think more about her Chansey. Where could she be? Is she okay?

Joy: Are you looking for Chansey?

Jenny: Yes, but you must be patient.

Joy: I don't want to be patient! I want my Chansey!

Jenny: I'm sorry.

Joy: I must go. It's been a long day and I just can't sit here and wait. Goodbye.

Joy rushed from the Indigo Plateau. Dirt covered her snow white shoes, where she'd usually been careful. The sky was a dark blue. Stars shined in the sky as a tear streamed down Joy's face. Walking down the hill, she tripped over a jagged rock. She rolled until she landed in a bush. Before she got up, she heard a faint voice. The voice revealed itself as two. She peered through the bush. Two men dressed in a black uniform. The letter R was taped on the front of their shirts.

Grunt: Where is the hideout?

Grunt #2: Behind one of these bushes.

Joy: Hideout..

Grunt: The boss sure did do well today with the stolen Pokemon.

Their voices then fell silent as they crawled through a bush.
