1st Gen Nuzlocke challenge

so i know its probably sdilly but was thinking about doing a nuzlocke in either yellow or red.

Whats the best way to go about it? I mean my rules so far are just the basic faint is dead, nickname and first pokemon in each route or cave?

any others i should consider like rules wise?
