I am desperate to find a shiny sneasel, they are so great, but I was trying to chaing and I kept messing up cuz it is snowy and hard to see...so I wanted to know if the chances would be the same, better or worse on getting a shiny by breeding...like I leave sneasel and a ditto in the daycare and keep getting the eggs until they hatch, I just don't want to do that if it's pointles...thanks for the answers in advance. :D If anyone has a shiny sneasel I am willing to give a level 70 giratina for it. :D

The chances for hatching a shiny are the same like for finding one in the wild.
Keep in mind that whether the Pokémon is a shiny or not will be determined when you receive the egg from the daycare man, not when you hatch it.

what do you mean by this :

He means that once you receive the egg from the Day-Care Man, that that's the moment in time the game decides if it's shiny or not, not when it actually hatches from the egg. So you could have a shiny in the egg, but you wouldn't know because it's not hatched yet.

The chances are really low. Just like catching one in the wild. Its almost imposible. But I hatched alot of eggs in my Emerald game and got a shiny Totodile "image removed".

Probably not as many Bagon as I did....
3 full boxes. That's 10240 steps each, but halved because of Magcargo. :P
