Two nights ago i got my Diamond and Pearl and my two DS's. Now Pearl had a national dex while Diamond did not. Yet in the union room it still allowed me to trade those National Dex pokemon over. The Pokedex info in Summary says ??? for their number and i know why as i don't have the National Dex i just want to solve the Mystery why was i allowed to transfer my national dex pokemon to diamond in the first place. No i do not believe in hacking nor cheating. I think this might be a flaw or something.

The pokemon works normally. My pokemon that i transfered are not hacked they came right from my Emerald and Leaf Green. Any answers if anyone else has had this before please share your experience and your thoughts on this. I find it quite odd

Actually, there isn't anything wrong at all with your game. In Diamond and Pearl, you can obtain pokemon from the National Dex before actually getting the National Dex. The only thing is that it doesn't record the data of the pokemon until after you get the National Dex. Thus, you cannot increase your pokedex sightings to obtain the National Dex by trading over National pokemon.

Example: I traded a Electabuzz holding the Electrizer from Diamond (which has the National Dex) to my Pearl (didn't have National Dex at the time) and the Electabuzz evolved normally and I got it back normally.

Me and my friend notice that too, but we found out that nothing bad happens. lol (not cheating or hacking) ;)
