First up is Gyarados, and he has Dragon Pulse, Flail, Waterfall, and Ice Fang. Flail is a attack that goes up over time depending on how much damage has been done to Gyarados. At 100% health, its base power is 20. Below 35% health left, it is 80. It can go all the way up to 200 base damage at around 4% health left, so be careful. Gyarados is 4x weak to Electric attacks, so a single Thunderbolt or Thunder will quickly take care of it.
His second and third Pokemon are his identical Dragonites. They both have Thunder Wave, Hyper Beam and Dragon Rush, with the only main difference being that one has Thunder and the other has Blizzard. Dragon Rush is a powerful, but inaccurate dragon type move that also has a 20% chance of causing your Pokemon to flinch. Hyper Beam is a |
powerful special attack that attacks the first turn, and then requires the user to miss his next turn. Thunder Wave paralyzes you unless you are a ground Pokemon. Dragonite is weak to Rock and Dragon attacks, but is very weak to Ice, so Ice Beam or Blizzard are both preferred if you have one of those attacks.
Fourth is Aerodactyl, which has Thunder Fang, Rock Slide, Aerial Ace and Crunch. Aerodactyl actually has several weaknesses, including Rock Steel, Water, Electric, and Ice, so attacks like Surf, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Ice Beam and such are all good.
Fifth is Charizard, which has Air Slash, Fire Fang, Shadow Claw, and Dragon Claw. Air Slash is a slightly inaccurate flying move with a 30% chance of causing you to flinch. Shadow Claw is a ghost move that is accurate and has a high critical hit chance. Dragon Claw is a powerful Dragon attack that is accurate. Charizard is weak to Water and Electric, and is 4x weak to Rock attacks, so Rock Throw or Slide would be good as well as Surf.
Finally, there is his lv 50 Dragonite. It has a Sitrus Berry attached and has Safeguard, Outrage, Fire Blast, and Hyper Beam. Safeguard prevents status conditions like poison or paralyze for about 5 turns. Outrage is a very powerful Dragon move that lasts for 2-3 turns and then causes Dragonite to become confused. Be careful of this attack, since its base damage is 120 per attack. Like the other two Dragonites you will want to use Rock or Ice attacks.
