Hey guys, I am having a bit of an issue right now.

I just got done doing EV training with one of my new Dragonairs, and I just realized that after all the EV training I did, it had a lonely nature. This is a problem because a lonely nature adds to attack (which is very good), but takes away from defense (which is bad).

Now the question is, do you think I should continue training with it, or should I re-breed and try to get an adamant nature, the preferable nature for a dragonair. It is only level 30, but has a handful of attack EVs. Its HP IV is a perfect 31, its attack IV is above average, and the rest are about average.

Do you think it would be worth it to re-breed, or can I let 30% of his defense stat slip?

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

With attack that high, and most likely pretty good speed, you won't need that much defense.
But that's just me, I prefer offense waaaaaayyyyy over defense.

    ^ This :)
I've got 2 Lonely Charizards and 1 Lonely Blaziken; Since I goes all offensive anyway (I don't even EVs train them) and they're good enough :)

    I say you keep it.
like Weavile05 said offence is better then defense,In my opinion also.
I dont understand EV's that much but if it has Higher attack,I say you keep it.

    Thanks a lot guys :D

If you posted here, you saved a dragonair from being released into the wild. (Or being stuffed in a PC box for all of eternity)

It's HP is only 16 above average and yet it will lose ~68 defense from that nature. And if you're using DPPtHGSS, you can just use the EV gaining items to complete EV training in about half an hour.

    So, yeah...

Put him in the box and release him. He will be a good Pokémon, but never a top Pokémon!

This is in the wrong location; it belongs in the quick question thread in Diamond, Pearl & Platinum.
