This isn't something you must follow, but its to give you a better idea on how good-quality sprite comics are usually made. You don't have to have photoshop and psp to make a sprite comic, MS Paint works fine!

    1. First you will have to make a frame. Frames aren't hard to make, You can either select a size for your comic and make frames according to the size, or just start off with a box and copy and paste it accordingly. Save 2 copies of your frame on your computer. I often find myself saving my comic onto a frame without changing its name. (Refer to Attachment 1)

    2. Drag the bottom dot in paint down and give yourself more workspace. Copy and Paste (ctrl+c, ctrl+v) the sprite(s) you need. Using the top right button which looks like a rectangle, drag a box over your sprite(s) and right click, and click stretch/skew. I put 200 and 200 in Vertical and Horizontal. This isn't a must, but you have a big frame, and you have a small sprite. (Refer to Attachment 2)

    3. Fill in your frame, and type in the text you need and make textboxes for them. A Common mistake is people doing that in the frame. You will run out of space so plan things out first. (Note that I added another sprite, you will know what it's for later) (refer to Attachment 3)

    4. Copy and paste the sprites you have already outside the frame and drag them into the frame where you want them. Next, fill the bit outside the frame with the sky color and drag your text boxes in. This helps you with the transparency problem. THen connect your textboxes to whoever's speaking. Everyone has different ways Adding a pixel or two to your sprite on the mouth give it the idea that its talking, and it won't even take a minute. Note that in the last panel, I added an extra textbox... Don't blame me for that. I felt like it, although you should know when I should have done that. (refer to Attachment 4)

    5. You can see in the last panel, Megaman.EXE looks like he's teleporting towards that place. This is easy. Select the Line tool and set it according the background color and draw lines through Megaman.EXE . A better way to do this is if you do it before it gets dragged into the box if you have a complicated background.

Thanks for spending time on reading this tutorial. I hope you enjoyed reading this and gave you a better idea on how to make a sprite comic. Please do not reuse this tutorial anywhere else unless you have permission by me and don't take any of the work (except for the frame, but you really should make your own)
