Yeah, most of my favorite Pokemon are Borderline/Underused, so I tend to play in those Tiers on Shoddy. I'm trying to figure out a good, solid team to use. Please, no OU suggestions. Thanks:

    Scyther@Leftovers
    Nature: Adamant
    Trait: Technician
    EVs: 252 SPD / 252 ATK / 6 HP

    Aerial Ace
    Agility
    Substitute
    Baton Pass

[ Scizor is dangerous to use in BL due to the Prominence of Fire-Types. ]

    Exeggutor@Leftovers
    Nature: Modest
    Trait: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 252 SPATK / 200 HP / 52 ATK

    Solarbeam
    HP [Fire/Rock] / Psychic
    Explosion
    Sunny Day

[ Sunnybeamer FTW. Exeggutor is one of the few Pokemon capable of pulling it off. Need help on the Second Move there. ]

    Ursaring@Salac Berry
    Nature: Adamant
    Trait: Quick Feet
    EVs: 252 ATK / 252 HP / 6 SPD

    Return
    Close Combat
    Night Slash
    Swords Dance

[ If all works out, Scyther will pass its Speed and if I'm lucky a Substitute to Ursaring. Swords Dance once and then sweep. He's been effective for me so far. ]

    Empoleon@Leftovers
    Nature: Calm
    Trait: Torrent
    EVs: 252 HP / 200 SPDEF / 52 SPATK

    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Grass Knot
    Stealth Rock / Yawn

[ Makes an excellent Special Wall in BL. Stealth Rock will work in tandem with Nidoqueen or Yawn can force a switch. ]

    Nidoqueen@Black Sludge
    Nature: Impish / Adamant
    Trait: Rivalry
    EVs: 252 DEF / 132 SPD / 126 ATK

    EQ
    Poison Jab / Stone Edge
    Fire Blast
    Toxic Spikes

[ Beefy and pretty strong. ]

    Hitmontop@Leftovers
    Nature: Jolly
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 SPD / 188 HP / 68 ATK

    Close Combat
    Bullet Punch
    Rapid Spin
    Toxic

[ Spinner. Gotta protect my Scyther. ]

Why do people call it BL if it's banned from OU, all it really is is Low Tier OU Play =/
Yeah, most of my favorite Pokemon are Borderline/Underused, so I tend to play in those Tiers on Shoddy. I'm trying to figure out a good, solid team to use. Please, no OU suggestions. Thanks:

    Scyther@Liechi Berry
    Nature: Jolly
    Trait: Technician
    EVs: 252 SPD / 252 ATK / 6 HP

    Aerial Ace
    Agility
    Substitute
    Baton Pass

    AgiliPassing.

    Exeggutor@Leftovers
    Nature: Modest
    Trait: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 252 SPATK / 200 HP / 52 ATK

    Solarbeam
    HP [Fire/Rock] / Psychic
    Explosion
    Sunny Day

[ Sunnybeamer FTW. Exeggutor is one of the few Pokemon capable of pulling it off. Need help on the Second Move there. ]
Hidden Power Fire. Mild Nature instead of Modest.
Also, those EVs are all wrong. You need enough Speed to reach at least 406.

    Ursaring@Toxic Orb
    Nature: Adamant
    Trait: Quick Feet
    EVs: 252 ATK / 4 HP / 252 SPD

    Facade
    Close Combat
    Crunch
    Swords Dance

[ If all works out, Scyther will pass its Speed and if I'm lucky a Substitute to Ursaring. Swords Dance once and then sweep. He's been effective for me so far. ]
Apparently you have the concept of Quick Feet Ursa out of whack. Here's what I would do. Send it in on something that might cause a switch, Swords Dance, and use Toxic Orb to activate the Poison which then DOUBLES Ursa's Speed.

Most importantly, no Status Abusing Ursaring should go without Facade.
(for the record, Ursa's my fav Normal Poke ;))

    Empoleon@Leftovers
    Nature: Calm
    Trait: Torrent
    EVs: 252 HP / 200 SPDEF / 52 SPATK

    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Grass Knot
    Stealth Rock / Yawn

[ Makes an excellent Special Wall in BL. Stealth Rock will work in tandem with Nidoqueen or Yawn can force a switch. ]
    Whatever dude.

    Nidoqueen@Black Sludge
    Nature: Impish / Adamant
    Trait: Rivalry
    EVs: 252 DEF / 132 SPD / 126 ATK

    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Fire Blast
    Toxic Spikes

[ Beefy and pretty strong. ]
...I really don't understand the set. Care to elaborate on it for me?

    Hitmontop@Leftovers
    Nature: Jolly
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 SPD / 188 HP / 68 ATK

    Close Combat
    Bullet Punch
    Rapid Spin
    Toxic

[ Spinner. Gotta protect my Scyther. ]
Needs to be defensive. Redo the EVs.
On a UU perspective, Pinsir SLICES this team to shreds.
As for Scyther, completely change him since you have NOTHING to Baton Pass to (Except Ursa, but he works so much better with Toxic Orb than Baton Pass.

Also, your team lacks a Physical Tank (Nidoqueen doesn't count sorry)

Wow, I'm off tonight. :-\ Honestly, I'm going to bed.

I usually switch in Ursaring when I'm predict a status-inducing move incoming. I'm terrible with EVs, so I apologize for them being so off. And I honestly don't know what I did with Nidoqueen. She's in there to counter Pinsir actually. EQ may be a threat, but if I remember correctly, a Nidoqueen I was facing survived an EQ from my Pinsir. Fire Blast was when I was using Poison Jab, but not it's useless since I switched to EQ. Should I go with a CB'd Scyther?

    252 HP / 212 DEF / 46 ATK on Hitmontop

As soon as I think I'm getting a hold of competitive battling, I screw up...

I disagree... don't use Mild. If anything, use a Rash nature, since this thing isn't going to be taking any Special hits to begin with. But he has surprisingly bulky Defense, and that's usually not something you want to lose.

As for the Speed, unless you plan to use this thing in the OU environment (and judging from the entire team, it's UU, BL at best), you really don't need to reach 406 Speed. The fastest non-OU is actually Persian (not counting Electrode, who almost NO ONE can outrun XD) and his max is 361. So shooting for something over that, granted perfect IVs in Speed, 156 EVs would do the job. I personally feel more attention should be paid to his Defenses than his Speed, and the Chlorophyll boost be more of a convenient treat than a battle strategy, but to each their own.

    Scyther@Focus Sash/Choice Band/Choice Scarf
    Jolly/Adament Nature
    EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
    -X Scissor
    -Aerial Ace
    -Reversal
    -Night Slash/Quick Attack/Swords Dance

Ahhh, Scyther... so many choices, although the CScarf set is probably more if you want him in the OU environment... and obviously SD only with Focus Sash
