Original TV Series Or The Redo In 20th Movie Which One Do You Prefer?

I just bought the 20th movie to watch later on Google Play Movies which appears a 97 minute redo of the original TV series 1 with Ash having different travel companions to Misty and Brock. I don't know how good this is yet. I should imagine it's good to see.

Original TV series is ultimately more preferable.

Nothing beats the original as far as I'm concerned. Comes with OST that is also quite memorable along with the 2 travel companions that helped start this series off on a good note. Curious as to how much they charged for the 20th Movie. Getting to the point where a visit to a Movie Theater is as much(if not more) than buying the film when it releases.
