First of all, WHY is Infernape in a Rain Dance team. Saying it's for late game isn't an excuse, since RD teams are SUPPOSED to last an entire match. Replace him, then we can talk about other weaks (Hitmonlee still sucks, since it's entirely outclasses by Heracross)

Consider Kristy Floatzel. I just like it better in all circumstances, and you might want a BPer for your team.

And, why in the hell is everyone copying me by using the EXACT same Hitmonlee I use in OU? D8

Rain Dance teams rarely last the entire game. What am I to do if all my rain dancers get KO'd? Then the team would be a bunch of worthless water Pokemon. You need sweepers for late-game. Period.

Secondly, Heracross is fugly and an overused, and overrated pile of crap. I have no love for that thing. I used it on a team once and Hitmonlee did a lot more then it ever did.

Considering the Kristy Floatzel. I really do not like Baton Passers. I can't use them right so I would prefer to keep him a sweeper.

That Hitmonlee is pretty much the standard.

If you lose 3 rain dancers it's obvious this team is not good and needs some serious work syngery wise.

    What a fantastic argument.

I don't mean to sound mean but I just hate Heracross. Almost everyone uses one, it is so annoying.

Can you please give me some advice without changing the pokemon, and if you really think I should change the pokemon, please tell me who to switch them with and a good moveset for that pokemon.

P.S. I love your sig. Steve Irwin's death was tragic, but that thing just makes me laugh my arse off.

I know, standards are usually boring, however, Choice Band Heracross is incredibly fun to use, and offers a status absorber for this team. Ounce for ounce, it does a much better job than Hitmonlee.

You only have 2 people who benefit from Rain Dance. I suggest removing Infernape for Gyarados, DD-Dos to be specific. Floatzel is not a reliable Rain Dance. I'd replace him with Ludicolo, who can Leech Seed and basically make a reliable special sponge.

Alright, I will look into those. But right now, it is dinner time.

Plus, I am sorry if I sounded rude. My mistake.

You didn't sound rude at all, and I highly suggest CB Hera:

    Heracross @ Choice Band
    Adamant
    104 HP/252 Att/154 Spe
    Close Combat
    Megahorn
    Stone Edge
    Pursuit/Facade

I already have Deoxys-S to set up SR. Should I go with Night Slash instead?

So lets see. Ludicolo over Floatzel, Gyarados over Infernape, and Heracross over Hitmonlee, correct? That still only leaves me with one Pokemon which is electric-weak, which is what I was aiming for.

So I should have the DD Gyarados, and the CB Heracross. Have a suggestion for a good Ludicolo?

Ludicolo @ Damp Rock / Leftovers
    Modest
    152 HP / 252 SAtk / 104 Spe
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Rain Dance
    Grass Knot

It's possible to use Hydro Pump if you want more power.

Thanks for the set. I think I will go with Surf. I prefer reliability to power.

Rain Dish or Swift Swim on Ludicolo?

Well, since this Ludicolo isn't meant for tanking, I would opt for Swift Swim to kill things earlier.

I modded that set a bit. It is a special wall/rain dancer so I went with Rain Dish for a way to heal.

I just updated the entire team. Post your thoughts on this new one.

No, never use Rain Dish. Swift Swim always outclasses it.

I assume you mean Rain Dish. Seeing as Rain Dance is a move and Swift Swim is an ability.

Alright, I changed it to Swift Swim. How does the rest of the team look now?

Yeah, I meant Rain Dish D:

But really, Swift Swim lets Ludicolo actually make a decent switch into a Salamence using something like Flamethrower (won't OHKO) and then scare it away with Ice Beam. It also laughs at Starmie, 4x resisting its STAB.

Is there such thing as 4x resistance?

I thought that that would be 0x damage taken, right?

EDIT: My mistake, 4x resistance is equivalent to 0.25% damage taken.

    Wow, Ludicolo owns Starmie.

Anyways, I made the team on Shoddy. Lets test this bad boy out.

EDIT: Team runs pretty well. I am currently 5-3. Only problem with the team is Swampert. Sure he is my physical wall but he always seems to get 2HKO'd. The most I ever get out of him is a Rain Dance. Plus, I think I need another sweeper. Any suggestions?
