Now I got a great moveset for my absol thanks everyone :)
Id really like some help with the following pokemon

Grumpig < Id really like to tank this pokemon up, should I max HP and def or def and sp.def or....?
Im aiming for a pokemon who can take serious hits, do you think a grumpig could handle it?

Now moveset -.- I havnt the slightest, I would have liked to give it hypnosis but I dont think it can learn it, does anyone know if it can learn it as an egg move? Otherwise Im open for suggestions about movesets/natures/items.

For a good water pokemon I was thinking Walrein, Im after under used pokemon mainly and Im not sure where Walrein stands but oh well.
I was thinking another tanked up pokemon seeing that the hp/def stats are already pretty decent, Im after this pokemon being a sweeper, so it can handle a range of pokemon. or maybe a rest/snore moveset.
Again Im not so sure, and suggestions are welcome
I might swap walrein with swampert im not sure yet.

Now ZangooseAgain Im pretty hopeless with movesets so I would definately need some help with this one...also Im not sure what I want this Zangoose to acheive.
The Ev spread would definately be in speed/atk
    Suggestions needed :S

I have also picked Camerupt is that to over used?
Camerupt has really good atk/sp atk so Id like to work with that but again Im lost for a moveset.. :S Id like camerupt to be able to take a hit but to also be able to give a strong one...any ideas?

For my last pokemon Im definately going with Manectric I have got a fair idea for a moveset:
    Nature: Modest/Timid
    Moveset:
    - ???
    -Flamethrower/roar
    -Thunderbolt
    -Thunder Wave
    Not to sure about it
Manectric is fast with a mean sp.atk so Il be focusing on those

Thanks in advance for anything you can help me with I really appreciate it :)

Oh and can someone please explain IV's to me, what exactly are they? Does each pokemon have a certain amount in a stat and they pass that amount onto there babies? How much do they matter?

    Sorry to double post, O.o

Manectric can work fine with Substitute, it's a quick but frail Pokemon. Try Modest though, IMO.

    Zangoose @ Silk Scarf
    Nature: Adamant
    EV: 252 Att / 252 Speed / 6 HP
    Trait: Immunity
    Swords Dance
    Quick Attack
    X-Scissor/Rock Slide
    Close Combat/Shadow Claw

Zangoose doesn't struggle so much with Rock/Steels as he used to. Still has trouble though. Assuming max Attack IV and one Swords Dance, with Silk Scarf and Quick Attack that's a OHKO to Alakazam. STAB QA hurts lots of other things too. Zangoose has lots of other options to use too (Focus Punch is an interesting choice, but that takes good prediction, and he doesn't really have the slots to use Substitute).
