Breeding Pokemon lately for IVs, I happened to noticed more how the Stats Judge will say one of two different sayings for the "Pokemon's Potential" when dealing with the highest IVs, either:
Superior or Outstanding.
and regardless of which of these two, he ends it with "Stats Like Those Cannot Be Beat!"
So my question is, which is better? Superior or Outstanding?
By English dictionary definition, I would think Superior is greater than Outstanding,
but then looking at information on sites such as Bulbapedia, apparently "Outstanding" was better in the previous generation game, unfortunately there's no info on his either saying superior or outstanding for X&Y.
In previous Gen: "relatively superior" was IV totals in range of 121 to 150
and "outstanding" are IV totals in range of 151 to 186.
Considering that he doesn't say "Relatively" in X&Y, it makes me wonder if the same rules of the previous generation still apply, or is superior is better this time around?
I don't believe that they are the same and there's no difference, because if you considering the fact: if "Pokemon A" got "outstanding" and "Pokemon B" got superior, having him judge them again, he will only say outstanding about "Pokemon A" and only say superior about "Pokemon B", so this leads me to believe that there has to be a difference as something with the Pokemon's stats triggered that particular response..
Any one with any insight?
