I know these are probably short and they have no puncuation in them, but please tell me what yall think. I've carried these around in my notebook for months now, decideing where I should put them. The first one is probably better than the others, but I'll let yall decide.


Passing

I'm so tired of being here
Trapped by all of my past fears
You don't me to leave
But I must leave you now
Evil dreams haunt me still
And they won't leave me alone
My wounds are just too deep
They will never heal here
I must go beyond the White Towers
I must pass across the opened Sea
You will understand in time
You shall miss me much
But you must stay, for now
Soon, my friend, we shall meet again


A Promise

I made a promise
A promise to never leave you alone
And I've kept that promise, till now
You are leaving
And I can not follow
You tell me not to be torn in two
But I will be
You say goodbye to me and your kin
Then you turn away
Towards the white ship and take the wizards hand
I know you must leave
Because of your past
I wish for you to stay
But you can't
Now, my promise to you long ago, before our journey is broken


Smiling

I remember before you moved away
When you'd smile like that
It'd make me feel better
You chased away my haunts
Your smile made everything better
And I thought you'd be here
Now and forever
But you won't be
As you board the white ship
You turn and smile
It's the same one from long ago
I can still recongize it, even now
I try to smile back
But I can't
