Since I'm such a huge fan of this club, I'll join. Shinji is the hottest thing on earth..... yes, hotter than all the volcanoes of the Pacific put together.

Personally I dont think Shinji has gone through the region yet.

Both Shinji and the official site clearly state that he is from Tobari city. "Tobari city no Shinji desu" is the exact phrase, when he confronts Shirona in her episode. Most likely, he got his Pokemon from the Nurse Joy there.

I also have a theory he's from another region and came to Shinou specifically to get Naetle.
But, I like to fool around with the cannon a lot.
