People are Kinetic; Photography and Graphics Gallery

Yay. I learned how to do a fancy CSS - I mean... Welcome to my Gallery. I'm not much of a Graphics Artist, or a Photographer. But you people can critique for me and help me improve and stuff.

    Other/Comments

If you want to use any of these, which I doubt, please ask. And ch'yeah, I'm pretty new to both fields here, but photography is the main interest.

Added a new Tag of Shadow, couldn't decide whether it looked better with or without the border, and an accompanying avatar. Also added a couple of Pokemon icons (I'm quite pleased with the Pikachu one myself) and a load of photos. (:

First, about the Tails ( it is Tails, right ? I don't really know much about Sonic ^^') tag. The render is placed too much on the right, so the other side feels very empty. The text is a bit too blurry, and I don't think that the flow is the best. However, it's nice (:

Then, the chibi one. I love the placement of the render. But, again, there isn't much depth or flow. The text is nice, though. Again, a little bit on the empty side, but heyy, it's cute :3

Third and fourth one ( since the only difference is the border, I'm doing them together) Like I said before, the flow and depth. My suggestion is just keep trying, and keep reading tutorials. Also, why not use some C4d's ?
I'm not really sure 'bout the text. The color fits, and yet I feel as if it's a bit hard to read. - or maybe that's just because it's getting dark here and my eyes are bad ^^' -

The avatars are simple. Maybe add some brushes or text ?

I love the first Pokémon icon, it's awesome x3
About the second, did you add the light or was it already there ? Because it's kinda irritating n_n

Then, I'm not really good in photography 'nd shizzles.
But I think your pictures are pretty blurry.

Maybe you have a bad camera ? I suggest you try sharpening them with your edit program. I'm not sure if they'll look better with it, but you can try, right (:

    - Gawd, that was pretty long >.>

I hope you understand what I'm saying, and like I said, keep trying, keep improving :D

T'would indeed be Tails, his full name is Miles Prower (it's a pun on Miles Per Hour). I know what you mean about the emptiness. Probably should have made it smaller. The text is blurry? If you mean the small text it's not meant to be readable it's just kinda decorative.

This one was kind of a lazy one and I don't think I put in as much effort as I could have. I think emptiness is on of my big problems. That's why I tried to go a little smaller on the Shadow one.

There is a C4D in this one, the curly things coming out from behind Shadow, but maybe I should make it more obvious? I'll work on it. ;o Again, the small text isn't meant to be readable, it's just decorative (an Idea I took from a tutorial).

    Yay, for loving the first one. xD I did add the light in the second one. I thought it looked good... ;.;

I actually thought my pictures looked okay. D:I think some of the ones in the first lot may be blurry because I was practicing with the Macro on my camera. The other ones don't look so much like that. Or I don't think so.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to review my work, it's much appreciated. : D

I actually just kinda followed another tutorial (probably whilst you were posting), the results of which I'm about to post.

Okay, two things, the blurriness of your pictures is caused by a bad lens, if you have a point and shoot, there's not much you can do about this except a bit of sharpening in an editing program, but don't over do it. If you have a DSLR with a swappable lens, then definitely look into getting a better lens, preferable one with a glass optic. Glass > Plastic when it comes to sharpness of the photo.

Yeah. I just have a point and shoot. Though are they really that blurry? I thought the second batch looked okay. I'm going to see about getting a new camera anyway though. So yeah, thanks for the advice, I'll definitely take it into consideration.

It is pretty blurry. To illustrate here's a comparison of a photo of mine, next to one of yours. Hopefully you can see the difference in sharpness.

Seeing the comparison, I understand better what you mean. I'll have a go at editing some of them later on. 'Cause I'm afraid I'll be struggling on with this camera for a while.

Your picture is really pretty, by the way. (:

Yeah, just use sharpness adjustment sparingly, you can royal eff up a perfectly good photo by sharpening it too much.

Again the best way to get a natural sharp photo is to have a good glass optic in your lens. And tbh, I don't think manufactures bother using real glass in point and shoots.

And thanks for the compliment, it's nice to hear good things about your photos. =)

    You have some potential.

Out of all your work I have to say I love the way your icons look.

Your Photo genres are good, but a better camera would really help a lot.

It's been a while, and I was hoping my other computer would get fixed but it didn't, but I've finally got some new works up after putting photoshop on this computer. Two versions of the Silver one, I'm not sure which one flows best, and two new icons.

And also, I dunno if I'm just being my own harshest critic here, but I must be out of practice because these ones look almost a step back from the others. I guess that's what I need you guys for, critique please? (:

Edit: Added some more stuff; icons and an Avatar.
