Pet Challenge

This is a new kind of challenge where you only use pokemon that I have written down that I perceive as being closely related to the pets people have in real life and only use moves that an actual real life pet would be able to use, such as tackle or scratch. You need a copy of heartgold or soulsilver to play(emulators are ok). First lets start off with the rules.

Rules:
1) Absolutely no cheating. If you are using an emulator and would like some of the pokemon that cannot be obtained at the beginning of the game you may hack some eggs in. Only the pokemon egg is to be hacked not the stats or movesets.

2) All the pokemon you pick must be trained and used throughout the game. You cannot decide in any point of the game that you do not want one of the pokemon any more. If you chose the pokemon at the beginning of the game you have to stick with it. If you don't like your team that you picked you can restart the game and pick a new team or you can ask me to pick one for you.

3) Take care of your pets. If one of your pets faints it is dead therefore you can no longer use it. Place it in a pc box or release it. No revives.

4) Should one of your pets die you can get another one, but it has to be the same pokemon. Example: if your meowth dies you can go out and catch another meowth or have another meowth egg.

5) Only 6 eggs can be transferred per game. However if the pokemon you want is available before the 3rd gym (whitney in goldenrod) you cannot transfer an egg of said pokemon.

6) Carry medicine with you at all times so that you can heal your pokemon.

7) You must name all of your pokemon. No degrading names.

8) The pokemon that you pick can of course evolve except where noted otherwise.

9) You can have up to two hm slaves that are not to be used in battle and cannot be on the list of pets below.

10) You must update as frequently as possible. At a minimum once a week.

11) Only trading of eggs is allowed except for evolution purposes. Example politoed, eevee into glaceon and leafeon(must be an eevee that was in the game that you are doing the challenge in so that there is no boost in exp)

12) You must pick one of the extra ways to challenge yourself.

13) You must have at least 3 pets (pokemon)

14) You have completed your challenge when you have beaten all of the gyms in Johto and Kanto, defeated the elite four twice and defeated red.

15) HAVE FUN!!!!!

Ok so here is how the challenge will go. There are a couple of different ways you can get your team. Below are the ways.

1) You can pick up to 6 pokemon from the list below. Minimum of three.

2) I can pick for you from the list below.

3) Another member of this challenge can choose for you from the list below.

Here are the extra ways that you can challenge yourself.

1) No evolving.

2) Only one type of pet. Example only cats=persian, meowth, etc.

3) No hm slave.

I want to try this, though I don't understand the numbers after the Pokémon (e.g. Bulbasaur, 3). Is this to count towards the minimum of 3 and maximum of 6, for example if I went with a Blastoise, I could only use him as he counts as 6 turtles?

The number next to the pokemon on the list is the number of hm it can learn and then when I say a animal next to the pokemon it means what pet the pokemon reminds me of. It says all of this before the list of pokemon. I'll sign you up. Please use the sign up sheet and read all the rules please. Thanks!
