[Beam Me Up Furry Bandit!]

SINKING OF HOENN

CH 1 VOLUME 1: It came as it began

"It seems that there's nothing left of Lilycove."

The helicopter flew past a now burnt down city of Lilycove. The famous department store, now levelled to one crushed floor. The contest hall, now destroyed. It was dark and the only thing you could see was really the bursting flames entering the sky, as explosions ripped through the bay. Boats were tipped over and you could clearly see that an earthquake happened with also a possibility of a small tsunami.

"Let's see if we could find more survivors." The Pilot signalled.

The rescue helicopter swooped down into the fiery streets below, searching for Pokemon and People alive.


MEANWHILE...
"Owhh...oww."

A man was stuck under his car, he then quickly gazed at his unconscious Ivysaur, with bruises all marked around his face.

"Heeeaavvveee!"

The person finally, now free quickly tried to grab his wounded Pokemon but could not reach it due to a fracture in his right hand.

"I must try harder!"

With all his power and strength, finally caught the Ivysaur, also waking the hurt Pokemon as he pulled it out of the damaged vehicle.

About 28 metres away, a little wurmple scurried along the ravaged path looking around for other survivors and help.

Then...

A massive explosion occurred, knocking the poor, tiny Pokemon off its feet. But, as it was about to fall, a hand grabbed its tail, hoisting her up into a helicopter.

"This wurmple needs some bandages.. it has some cuts and bruises." A voice said.

It was the voice of a female.

"Here you go Solana!"

"Thanks!"

The young woman, Solana, noticed the man and his Ivysaur and quickly helped them aboard as they escaped the destroyed area, with everyone now gazing out of the window, looking out into the distance with shock.

Mount Chimney had erupted...

CH 1 VOLUME 2: Faults at hand

Spoiler:

The helicopter was now on its way to Sootopolis City, Sootopolis Central Hospital to be more accurate. Mount Pyre had developed a landslide, cutting off the main entrance to the mountain as rough waves battered against the rocks. The routes surrounding the whole area from Eastern Mount Chimney to the Far tip of the Caldera Rim near Mossdeep City. North Hoenn was now on alert, maybe waiting for a secondary eruption to take place.

"It seems only a minor of Soots has been hit."

"Keep going, we need to get these Pokemon and this man to the hospital fast!"

"Roger that!"


A few hours later.... at the clinic...


A nurse came up to the injured man concerning his Ivysaur.

"Mr Toshio, I'm so sorry, your Ivysaur didn't make it. It's lungs were punched from falling debris and couldn't survive that long."

He was now shocked.

"If only...If only..."

The nursed went away, as tears started to pour down his eyes. He then laid back on his bed and fell asleep. The number of fatalies with the People and Pokemon combined were 2,100 with 472 of them killed. The hospital ward Toshio was in, was now crowded. Packed with loads of People injured, maybe waiting to hear news about their injured Pokemon as they sat up on their bed, or some who just cried their eyes out, as they saw a child crying over the death of her little Bellossom.

Well do you know about Krakatoa in 1883?
It generated an earthquake and a tsunami....

Mount Chimney is the rim of giant caldera with Lilycove being in the middle of it so the other half is underwater.

I loved this! Very interesting plot an I'd like to see more. I wish you were a bit more descriptive though. I'd like to know how exactly the Ivysaur was hurt. Where were the bruises? What caused the Explosion? Also if the explosion was only a couple metres away, why didn't the person picking up the Wurmple notice the man? Other than that, I love the idea. Just be a bit more descriptive.

Kinda bleak, dont you think? Not that bad, but you might want to think about more descriptive stuff next, like ChrisTom said. How the man really felt about the Ivasaur, why did the Bellosom die, stuff like that. And where is Solana here?
Otherwise, I think you are doing great!!! I hope to see more next time, and am pretty much ready to read it all!

Well, I mean like did it die from debris? The initial explosion? The tsunami? Something like that.
