3rd Gen Physical/Special Split.

Ok, so I know that in the Advanced Generation moves were either physical or special by type, not by what their name/info/animation suggests.

So....somebody care to explain it all? Like which types are physical, which are special? etc. etc.

I think, going by my Pikachu and Venusaur, that the following is true, correct me if I'm wrong...

How you remember all that, I do not know....

At least I now know Thunder and Fire Blast have never been good moves for Gyarados...even before Gen IV
