This is one of the only Challenges where you can pick all of your rules.

Here is how you sign up:

Choose your ending:
Instead of having to collect all badges and defeating the pokemon league, you can beat all 10 pokeathlon events or catch a shiny pokemon.


You don't have to follow this, you can make your own rules if you like.

I don't mind this staying, but I'm gonna recommend adding a requirement of choosing at least 5 rules. Cause someone could pick the rule for a random team when we already have a thread for random challenges, and then some of them aren't even challenging on their own (male only team, for example). If you fail to add some sort of minimum number of rules needed, I will lock this and you can resubmit with changes, if you'd like. As of right now, it's way too easy to find loopholes in this and I must have been on something when I initially approved it.

Agree with this. I think that this challenge is too broad that it may include every other challenge out there. I'd highly suggest you create a list of rules (that doesn't overlap the other challenges) for challengers to pick from instead.

...and then, from that list, disallow players from picking more than 2 rules in the same category (except for Misc/Others). This will prevent your challenge thread from "copying" any other challenge thread out there, and henceforth making everyone's own challenge very unique!

When thinking of what you said, I looked at some of the rules I made and thought they can be in a group of the same rules like:

That would be fine, just edit the first post and please require participants to have to choose more than 1 rule. Maybe a minimum of three. Just edit it into the first post. Also, don't feel the need to limit the challenge to 10 rules to choose from. You can add more and just ask me to change the title. Something like "Pick Your Poison Challenge" sounds good to me, but I'll let that be your decision.

Here are the rules for me:
1. Can't use berries
2. Team will be base off of the main type of the pokemon
3. One pokemon on my team must know Tickle.
4. Can't use pink pokemon
5. For the ending of my challenge I have to catch a shiny. But I can't do this until I defeat the pokemon league.

I think this has a lot of potential but just needs to see a bit of use which sadly it looks like it's not getting at the moment.
