ok, this has been bugging me ever since i started liking pokemon.
HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE THESE FREAKIN NAMES?!?!?!?!?
i've Heard So Many Different Ways For Suicune Here Are Some Exemples:
    Suk-Yu-Weene
    Su-i-Sune
    Swee-kune
    Su-Sune
    Sway-Kune
    Swee-Keen
    Ect.
And Pidgeot, One Resorce Would Say One Thing And Another Recorsce would Say Something Completely Different.Like, I'd Read The OFFICIAL Pokemon Handbook, And It Would Say Pidgeot Is Pronounced Pid-Jit.But Thren I'd Watch The Show, And Ash Would Call It Pid-Jey-Ot.
    So....Is It.
    Pid-Jit,
    Or Pid-Jey-Ot?!?!?!
    Please, Someone Let Me Know!!

    Suicune=Swee-coon
Pidgeot=Pid-gee-ot OR Pid-git BOTH are acceptable in this case since two official Pokemon sources say it is. However, I would go with the handbook just to be sure. The anime is definitely NOT reliable for learning anything on Pokemon. I mean, it said that Rock is immune to Electricity and Psychic is weak against Ghost (back in the RBY days).

pid-jee-ot or pij-et <---- on pokemon stadium it sounds like pidjet
soo-iss-sine. <----if it was that it would look like suicine not suicune

Suicune's Japanese name is Suikun, pronounced "Swee-coon".

Pidgeot is pronounced "pidgeon", with a t replacing the n.

I say it like: Pidge-EE-ot, and Soo-uh-coon. I personally don't like to say it like SWEE for Suicune, because it just sounds weird. And Pid-jit just doesn't sound right for Pidge-EE-ot. :P

Pij (Pidge) - Ee - Ot
    Swee - coon

    That's how I've always pronounced 'em :\

Pi-Jet Silent "D" small "I" sound thats the right way to say it. You could alway say Pi-Ge-Ot but most people don't use that I think. As for the next one easy enough Japanese is Su-E-Kun Long "E" sound, just say the whole thing fast. As for the English one, easy Swe-Kun "coon" and "Kun" make the same sound so the diffrence isn't that big at all.

Suicune is pronounced: Swee-Koon (use a long E on Swee and a long O on Koon)
Pidgeot is pronounced: Pid-Jit (I believe the D ish silent, but it doesn't sound too different if you do say it, and Jit is pretty self-sxplanitory as I wrote it)

    Hope I was helpful! ^_^
