Oh sorry I meant pidgeot, but I like the name pidgeotto better. Anyway, I have a hard time trying to pick a moveset for this guy. I love using my favorite pokemon, and this is one of them. Anyone got ne suggestions on movesets and how to use um?

Okay for what version? all depends on the version.

im guessing ur just gonna use it for the begining of fr/lg. i stil have no idea of wat featherdance does but it can learn it in those games.
    podgeot[atk or spd+/sp.atk-]
    fly
    wing atk
    quick atk
    agility/steel wing

im aware of the 2 flying types atks but this is for getting around in the begining of the game.

for slightly compeititve purposes... um... err...

Pidgeot the cool looking but unfortunately useless birdie- [speed/def/sp.def + / sp.atk -] @ leftovers
    EV: Hp, def, sp.def, speed
    -toxic
    -quick attack
    -protect
    -fly

What's the above? Some crappy moveset... but at least it's original. If you're trying to attack with Pidgeot, then Swellow can use THE EXACT same moveset yet do a job twice as well as it. So might as well try a moveset that no other birdies can copy... Pidgeot has some of the highest defense out of all non-legendary flyers O.o; (which, is not that high)

Look like on my own with this one. I'm gonna make pigeot work! Gonna involve alot of testing and work for it to become useful though. Plus i have to wait a few months before fr/lg >_>.

and also, whatever you come up with for your Pidgeot, use the EXACT same moveset on a Swellow, and be astonished at the effectiveness of Swellow compare to Pidgeot's. That superior speed and higher attack power means Swellow > Pidgeot.
