    Have you ever watched the POKEMON series?

    Well, besides POKEMON CHRONICLES, guess who I have to look at every episode?

    I'll give you some clues.

    It's small, yellow, furry and to some people cute?

    Nope, not Psyduck. Definately not a baby Zapdos!

    It's Ash's Pikachu!!!!!!!!!!! Who else?

    I doubt there has ever been an episode (BESIDES CHRONICLES, WHICH REALLY WASN'T A MAIN STORYLINE SERIES) that has played without that rodent. But of course, you don't see Pokemon like Eevee or Mewtwo in every episode. And of course, Pikachu refuses to evolve. God forbid that Pikachu gets stronger and make everyone else happy.

    Don't you feel the same way?

    It's about time Ash either evolves it, releases it or trades it. He released his Charizard but keeps his Pikachu?Better yet, he should send it up to Professor Oak for a while and bring back someone, like Bayleef or Kingler. god, it's like all of Ash's OTHER Pokemon died or something.

    So, to the point of this.

    I want to see if P.C likes or dislikes Pikachu! I know I do! I'll add the names to the list and after 1 week, we'll see what P.C TRULY thinks about Pikachu!

    Pikachu is really retarded and must die! they should bring in a new main pokemon.
    The problem is with pikachu is that it was Ash's first pokemon...
     
    I actually like it. It's character has been completely ignored by the writers recently, which I think is the problem. Watch the first episode, watch Pikachu's goodbye and you'll find yourself loving Pikachu again. The simple fact is that he now exists as a Team Rocket blaster off-er and has been ignored as an actual character. This Bulbapedia page says it all. 9 episodes in the original series, 2 in Advanced Generation and 1 in Diamond in Pearl. Meanwhile, its popularity has been steadily declining. Coincidence? I think not.

    I HATE pikachu to start off with. so many of those dumb fangirls out there like "omg pikachu!!! cutee!!!!! :3 :3 :3 :3" make me sick with the way they try and act like weirdos in front of them.​

    another thing, it's so bland. what the hell is so special about it? nothing. ​

    and the anime series. ew god get me a bucket quick.

    sorry, I needed that. it disgusts me how they keep a pokemon with so much potential in its evolution kept at the first stage. it makes no sense at all. once they evolve it into raichu, it would be so much better and more decent.​

    until then, it's just a stupid ball of cheese that can do nothing and people need to wake up to see how useless it is.

    Actually, when I watched Goodbye Pikachu a couple years ago, I was glad when Ash wanted to release his Pikachu. lol.

    And I am aware of pikachu's popularity decline. Which is all the more reason to take it off. Maybe they shound have Dawn's Pachirisu and it's Discharge be the Team Rocket Blaster-Offer.

    P.S, the episode with Pikachu and Buneary flirting should count as a FOCUSSING episode on Pikachu, but its not listed.

    I like Pikachu. I feel that the people who complain about Satoshi's Pikachu complain just for the sake of complaining.
     
    Here's what I think about Pikachu:
    Kanto Series: Awwww. Very cute.
    Orange Islands Series: Pikachu's back!
    Johto Series: Oh.
    Hoenn Series: Please leave Pikachu.
    Sinnoh Series; Oh my God! Get rid of Pikachu!

    Conclusion:
    I habe and always will hate pikachu...
     
    I like Pikachu. Pikachu and Ash are best friends and I doubt they will ever part.
    Besides, there are many other pokemon I would rather see die. like Piplup, I hate the stupid thing.
     
    I like him, he's cute and without him the anime would be slightly more unwatchable.
     
    I <3 Pikachu. I really don't see what the big deal is, it's just a tv show. Pikachu is there because it's cute, you shouldn't want to kill it for that. ._. If you don't like it, stop watching. And Pachirisu as a new star? NO THANKYOU.
     
    1) I am a pokemon fan.
    2) Pikachu is my favorite pokemon, primarily since I've been a fan since the seires started, and Pikachu was the "it" thing.
    3) I HATE Ash. With a fiery passion. I think Pikachu is a good character, but Ash is just too much. I could stnad him in the early seasons, but it's like they're trying to make him more annoying; and the new VA didn't help either.

    Want do I want more than anything for Pokemon? Simple. Dark pikachu. Call me emo or whatever you want, but Pikachu is tough. Make him dark, shadow, evil, whatever you want to call it. Then, give him to a trainer who actually knows how to USE his power. Like Hawke, from Advance Wars (yes, I'm an AW fan, and Hawke is my favorite CO.)

    Black Hole > Team Rocket
    Dark Pikachu > Normal Pikachu
    Hawke > Ash
    Black Storm (...you did better than I expected.) + Volt Tackle = Dead anything
    Dark Pikachu + Hawke = Black Hole supremecy.

    To quote Lash, "Tee hee! That's Black Hole math!"
     
    Ash didn't release Charizard. He put it in training and can call on it anytime he wants.

    I also really doubt this decline in popularity of Pikachu. Remember kids, just because the angry bitter Internet fans hate Pikachu/Ash/Team Rocket/every single game except for Green/every movie/the entire franchise doesn't mean it's the same in the real world.

    Notice how there are tons of Pikachu events? PBR Surf, Nzone Pikachu, and the tons of semi-recent Pikachu events in Japan? What about Pikachu being in every regional Pokedex? Or Pikachu still being on the anime? Or it's use in non-Pokemon games such as Smash Bros? Or that, if average Joe can recognize and name any Pokemon, it's probably Pikachu? Sounds like it's not just the official mascot of the franchise, but the most popular too!

    The producers of the anime pander to what's popular. That's why the Pokemon featured in every saga are Pokemon that are NEW to the region, or gain a new evolution (Aipom-Ambipom). But Pikachu is popular enough to keep a presence. If it did have this widespread irrational hate, the people making the anime would change it in a heartbeat.

    I wasn't referring to the original anime, I understand that it has a massive fanbase, and I'm not going to tamper with that. I'd just like to see something new incorporate that idea, be it a game, anime, movie, manga, what-have-you. I don't watch the anome anymore, and I want something new to fill the void. Maybe a spinoff or something.

    And, not the cheesy little pseudodark Pikachu from the anime who consistently get whipped by Uberchu. Those don't count. They are fail.
