That's right (no Meowth reference there, LOL)! This is my art gallery. You can view all of my work here. So far, it has all been done on Microsoft Paint. That's why it's horrible (my Paint skills REALLY need some improvement). Later!

Uhm... you say it´s horrible, but why do you show it then?? Why wouldn't they? =\

I don´t like them, sry... Hey, why not give the artiest some tips and suggestions why you don't like them.

And why do you use paint???? You know, some people don't know about other art programs or they just can't afford the program. And, if you know how to use paint, it's not such a bad program.

    HF,

yea sry its crap dont use paint -- Dude, why are you putting the artiest down? If it's so crappy, how about helping the artiest with suggestions? And it doesn't really matter what art program you use.
AND, you read the bold writing aswell.

Anyhow, I would love to help you out. :3

Colors - Try not to use the defult paint colors that paint gives you.

Shapes and outlines - Hmmm, you really could use help. Try the shape tools on the tool box in paint.

Hmm, overall, it kinda looks like you don't know how use paint that much, but soon, you'll understand how to use it. :3

Seriously? Are you SERIOUSLY putting this girl down like that?
Artists are at different levels. The only way an artist can be "better" than another is if they work harder.
If they work hard, that should be a masterpiece. And it is. I can't believe what you guys are saying. This poor girl's going to feel like crap because of your comments. :|

Hey, pikachu192, don't listen to anyone that says you're bad, alright? You're not. :3 Everyone started out somewhere. Even the "good" artists that are really well-known began with lines and shapes. Keep drawing!

I'm a complete noob at Paint. It's easier to use.

If you work at it I think it will improve, but right now I think it needs more work.

I'm not that good either myself.

good start just keep pacticing and u will get better if u feel u dont try using another method like normal drawing ^^

:) Hopefully I'll be able to explain this so in the end you'll end up posting something similar to what I've done here:

Okay, to begin, you need to be able to control the mouse so you can draw lines, just like how you would draw on paper. This is hard, since nobody usually uses their mouse for drawing, only for well, computer use. So, just take a while, and when you think you're ready, then you can continue.
Changing colors is easy. Look at the tab where the sections like File, Tools, all that, and press Color, Edit Colors.
There, choose a color that seems to match what you want, and isn't to bright. BUT, before you do ANY coloring, you need a basic sketch.

Doing your basic sketch is easy, if you use the brush tool, and then press the smallest "tip" on there. Draw what you want to make, then take the color you actually want to use (I usually use thicker lines for outlines), and do your final outline.

When you're satisfied, removed your sketch, and you have your plain lines. So, then you edit colors again, and keep on doing it until you're satisfied.

Now, here's how I think you're doing so far. Good work, but using Paint is usually hard at the beginning. I recommend looking up tutorials, and asking others who are more experianced with Paint. :) Good luck!

These need a LOT of work. First of all, I highly suggest not using Paint. It's not an easy program to work with, especially if you're using a mouse rather than a tablet. If you must use Paint, then don't use the default colors! They're blinding and awful, and usually ruin an entire picture if used.

Second, I suggest making a sketch first, because you're lines are all over the place. Either sketch something out in Paint and go over it in a darker color, or if you have a scanner, scan in a pencil sketch. As I said before, Paint sucks for drawing-- it's really only useful for spriting. You're better off using Photoshop or Flash.

That's all the critique I'm going to give for now. If you react well to this critique, use it, and try to improve, then I'll give you some more later. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with next, because if you take all of the critique from this topic and apply it, your art will improve 10-fold.

Well, practice. All you have to do is to practice. I suggest you NOT use the palletes in paint. But... how old are you? The drawings looks like a 8 year old kid's. ( Please, don't be angry if i hurt your feelings )

I believe that only true artists uses MS PAINT.
