4th Gen Platinum Team Question

I just recently received Platinum for my birthday and I have a question regarding my team. I have Pearl and I have tons of non-Sinnoh Pokemon. Should I trade them over from my Pearl game and create a non-Sinnoh team or just wait until I have enough badges?

Do what you like; the in-game poses little to no challenge whatsoever, unless you make it hard for yourself. Just pick your favourites and roll with 'em, in-game teams don't matter.
