Playing In The Rain: A Doubles Team (RATE?)

Im trying to make this team good! what would you think if you had to fight my team???

Kyogre is my Rain started.I have it a quite nature so that if a groudon is sent out i'll be slower allowing my weather to be in effect. i can pair it with Manetrick for Thunder accurcy of 100% Dry skin heal on Isavella and swift swim with kabutops. and the rest sleep talk to recover health to make water spout strong.

My personal favorite. i like to throw him in to a weaken pokemon and use charge beam and get the spatk boost then

flygon is kind of my last resort guy. if things are going down and i have an idea of the opponent pokemon i will choose the need move and hope for the best.

it is my singles lead pokemon. and has proved to be useful in double with protect and quick atk.



but how well do you think my team will match up against the other teams?
they allow some ubers in the tournament hence the kyogre (i usually dont use it).
but like i said hit me with your comments i want to know what you think will be best.

your kabutops does want swords dance, its boosts it atk to impressive stats, and with swift swim activated it really becomes a threat to your opponent. rock slide is a secondary choice to stone edge, but either two are fine.

instead of signal beam on manetric i suggest hidden power grass, so the ground types dont stop your sweep.

as for the last two pokes im not sure, ill leave it to the more experienced raters :)

Well seeing as this is now an Ubers team because you have Kyogre...it is outclassed by so many things. Kabutops can function well in the Ubers metagame, but the rest of your team doesn't even get anything added by the rain. It's sole purpose is to help Kabutops, and once that's gone, you're basically done.

Honestly, I basically know nothing about Ubers, but using NUs and UUs in it other than the ones who are positively affected by the weather (Kabutops, Ludicolo, Shiftry, etc.), there are way better options.

yeah im gonna but rockslide and S-dance on kabutops.

im not good at the Ubers either Kyoger is there really just for rain and to (try) stop other legend pokemon.
the team is for the pokemonVGC 2010. So i dont want to get kicked in the first round ya'know

I'd probably replace Parasect with Ludicolo. That's really just because I love Ludicolo, but he does benefit a lot from the rain. It also replaces a physical-based Pokemon with a special-based Pokemon to make the ratio 3:3 on your team. There's 4 movesets here for you to choose from. Personally I'd go with one of the Rain Dish sets, but it's up to you.
