The sinnoh myth
In the beginning, there was only a churning turmoil of chaos. At the heart of the chaos, where all things became one, appeared an Egg. Having tumbled from the vortex, the Egg gave rise to the Original One. From itself, two beings the Original One did make. Time started to spin. Space began to expand. From itself again, three living things the Original One did make. The two beings wished, and from them, matter came to be. The three living things wished, and from them, spirit came to be. The world created, the Original One took to unyielding sleep...
Game's story
You live in the region of xion. It is a large place around the size of hoenn or kanto. It is also a generally peaceful place.
However a criminal organization (should have seen that coming) is causing trouble everywhere in a search for one thing. The elemental plates which were formed from the shards of the universe. No body knows what they want with them but it can't be good.
You wake up one morning on your 10th birthday.
It is finally time to receive your first Pokémon! (Yes kind of predictable I know) You run outside to the professor's laboratory. Unfortunately there is a sign saying: on a trip. Back tomorrow.
You slowly walk back home disheartened. Your rival sees you and offers to see if you want to go Pokémon watching. You agree hoping it will make you feel better. You head off to the lake but you don't see anything. You feel even worse than before. However your rival drags you away to the nearby cliffs where there are plenty of rock and ground Pokémon.
When you arrive you hear a really loud noise, almost like a drill of some kind. When you peer over the cliff you can see lots of people in black and blue uniforms digging away at the rock.
After a few minutes they stop and someone in a red and green uniform yells out to stop. He then walks out holding a large green slab that looks almost like a plate. At this you become worried. Your rival saw the whole thing too.
You both run back home before any thing else can happen. You decide to wait till the next day to do anything as you don't have a Pokémon yet.
But there is something in the back of your head that you can remember being told by the professor. A green plate like thing? It sounds like a myth you were told when you were younger:
"When the universe was created, its shards became this Plate." "The power of defeated giants infuses this Plate."
"Two beings of time and space set free from the Original One."
"Three beings were born to bind time and space."
"Two make matter, and three make spirit, shaping the world."
"The Original One breathed alone before the universe came." "The powers of Plates are shared among Pokémon."
"The rightful bearer of a Plate draws from the Plate it holds."
You decide that whoever these people were they are up to no good. You set off the next day with a Pokémon from the professor to stop these people and recover the plate.
And that's as far as I'm up to. Apart from the ending which will be a secret!
