please help me improve

this is the first picture i have ever made from scratch. it took ages (dithering, gah!) I used tutorials from kawaiihannah.com to get me started.
Please give comments and critisism to help m improve in the future

Pretty good! It looks a bit flat though...Maybe you need darker shading and dithering at the bottom right side of the apple I guess, or the top. Keep working at it!

Ohhh yes Dithering. I learned it from that site too.

He is right, you need darker shading. But not a darker outline. It looks too dark compared to the coloring inside.

You might also need some more defined shading on the stem.

It seems like you've done good, you just arn't defining things very well.

the top outline is a wierd bluish green that doesnt seem to fit the nice apple green you made. darken it a bit to match the green tone you have. the stem is good, but the bottom outline is a bit too dark... you might want to fix that too.

by the way... i put in a reply in your other thread, you might want to delete the thread if your not going to use it.
