Please help! Pokedex Issue!

    I have an issue on my fire red rom hack, where the Pokedex does not register caught Pokémon correctly, it shows the registered entry at first in the pokedex, but it disappears when I move to a new area, wild Pokémon within that unregisterable range first appear as uncaught, but once you open and close a menu during battle it shows it as caught, this really frustrates me and I'd like a way to fix it.
