Hi I have a question about the new games.

I live in the UK but plan on importing diamond from america. My friend says because of the country/language difference that i wont be able to migrate pokemon from my sapphire and leaf green (both brought in uk) into pal park and stuff like that because the games need to be from the same country.. something to do with language lock?
does anyone know whether this is true?
does the language stop be doing anything between games?

also does anyone know if there any differences between the english and american version of the game?

also if i was to migrate a pokemon would it remain on the gba cartiridge?

also can you trade pokemon from diamond/pearl to gba games?

    Please help? Its muchly appricated

    1. Pal Park will work fine.
    2. Initially there are no differences between the English and American version of the game. It's just that the English version will have more languages in it, but that won't make a difference.
    3. If you migrate a Pokémon, it will not remain on the GBA cartridge.
    4. You can't trade Pokémon from D/P back to GBA games, no.

    5. If you import D/P, it will work fine. However, I've yet to clear up some stuff on whether trading works or not. Hopefully I will be able to confirm that soon, though.

If you have any more questions regarding regional differences etc., please visit this thread. It was created exactly for that purpose. Thanks.
