Please help with trading question

I feel like an idiot asking this, but I couldn't find an answer anywhere on the web so: Is it possible to use emerald with a DS and trade it with a firered on a gba+wireless adapter? and if so, do I need to also get a wireless adapter for the DS? (Nintendo's website said that the DS could play gba games, but only in single player mode, and I want to play more of that poke gen b4 moving on to Pearl/Diamond. I don't know if I need a second gba to make trades b/w those games happen, or if I should just buy the DS, b/c I don't want to have to move pokemon through an already beaten Diamond/Pearl)

I don't really understand the question, but I guess the answer is no, you can't trade between GBA games using the DS, and there is no connection to make that work. Only way to trade between GBA games is with 2 GBAs.

And yea, this section is more for actual trading and not questions pertaining to. ^^;
