Plot help?

Ok I started looking through this place recintly and I'm confusd. I see Ash and Gary hanging out and people are caslling them Red and Green. And who are blue and yellwo? Can someone help me?

Well now, you see...

The manga is very different from the anime. It came first than the anime.

Ash and Gary are nonexistant names in the manga.

The hero is "Red" and his rival is "Green" (Blue in the Enligsh version). Blue (Green in the english version) is a girl who was once a theif but then turned into the manga's first heroine by Red. Yellow is a girl disguised as a boy later on in the manga.

That's just the first anyway.

It's based off the game. So they look like the game's hero/rival. Ash and Gary are also based of the games so they look like the game's hero/rival.

That might help. Just a note: The manga came first before the anime. So most of the anime is actually based off in the manga (except the recycled plot crap they sometimes make)
