PMD: Time, PMD: Darkness, Difference?

I have PMD: Explorers of Time, and it talks a lot about the different things happening with time, and it shapes the entire story. So I was wondering if PMD: Explorers of Darkness has it's entire story shaped around the happenings with Darkness.
If there is a difference, is it big enough to buy both games?

Er... No, there is no difference except for game-specific items...

For example, Explorers of Darkness has Violent seeds and Explorers of Time does not.

Also, (just like the regular games) there are game-specific Pokemon.

Time: Celebi, Riolu, Lucario, Combee, Pachirisu

Shadow, there is NO difference in the story line WHAT so ever xD

Some game exclusive pokemon would be this

Time- Celebi
Darkness- Mewtwo

Also Time has Lucario, but in Darkness you can get Riolu through a Wondermail generator xD
