    Hi there!

(I opened the thread here because I did not know where else to put it.
Please feel free to move it, if there is a better category for it!)

I found this page today: https://indygal3.tripod.com/news.htm
I know it's really old but it has information about a Pokemon novel based on the anime (as it seems to be a book, not a manga, I didn't place this thread into the Manga/Comic section).

Here is the information given on the site:

The official novel of "Pocket Monsters" is published by the Japanese publisher Shogakukan Inc. Because it has very Japanese-like contents, this novel will be never translated.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Pocket Monsters: The Animation?

    Title: "Pocket Monstes: the animation"
Writer: Syudou Takeshi (The series constructor and main scriptwriter of the
anime series-- see where the Takeshi's name came from? ^_^)
Illustrator: Ichiisi Sayuri (The character designer of the anime series)

In another post the author says:

This novel revealed the secrets(?) of the anime. For example Shigeru's cheerleaders are employed by his granduncle, the mayor of Masara town . ^_^ ;)
It is also written about Satoshi's father. Satoshi's mother Hanako was infatuated with a young wanderer and married him at 18 years old and she had Satoshi but her husband left soon. She brought up her son with managing her restaurant all alone. (Of course, she doesn't love the unfaithful husband anymore)

I searched for more information about the novel with google but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know anything about it?

    This is really Interesting..
    but I dunno about this...
'cause you said that that it's old so, maybe the Book was realeased in 1997, and they don't sale it anymore in Japan D:

This would be better, if it wasn't so Takeshi-centered. I would like to know some details about other characters (especially Kasumi). And look at the dates. last note - August 2000. It's very old page.
