I don't know if I'll bother posting too many, but here's just a random sonnet with an ABAB rhyme scheme. Dedicated to all those in our population with no "Jimmony Cricket."
Sociopathic Stranger
From afar you notice him there alone,
a plastered smile lies on a sunless face.
That forgiving mask shows a sin attoned,
but that in the eye bids a cold embraced.
Your hand you offer to which he does shake;
his grasp is warm and shows nothing of fear.
You catch glimpse of a grin that yearns to break,
icey eyes that long for a focused leer.
As you walk away did you see perchance?
A malevolent smirk that those lips fly?
Frozen conscience and lament breathe a trance;
that benevolence was none but a guise.
